For the second straight game, McClain will face off against Miami Trace. The Tigers will welcome the Panthers at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. McClain is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.6 runs per game this season.

It was a proper cat-fight when McClain took on Miami Trace on Monday. The Tigers fell 6-3 to the Panthers. The Tigers have struggled against the Panthers recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.

McClain saw seven different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Eli Douglas, who went 1-for-3 with two stolen bases and one run.

Miami Trace is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-4-1 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.8 runs on average over those games. As for McClain, their loss dropped their record down to 12-8.
