It may have taken extra minutes to finish the job, but Union ultimately got the result they hoped for on Saturday. They had just enough and edged out the Winfield Warriors 4-3. Union haven't had any issues with Winfield recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

The victory got Union back to even at 3-3. As for Winfield, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-5.
