Basketball Recap: Salem Academy's Run of Three Straight Victories Now Over

Salem Academy and Enterprise squared off in some playoff action on Saturday, but Salem Academy had to settle for second. They fell to the Enterprise Outlaws 62-56. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game last Wednesday (55), the Crusaders still had to take the loss.

The defeat snapped Salem Academy's winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 20-8 record. As for Enterprise, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 23-5 record this season.

Salem Academy will take on Portland Christian on Thursday. Portland Christian knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past seven contests -- so hopefully Salem Academy likes a good challenge. Enterprise does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
