Volleyball Recap: The Gregory School Extends Winning Streak to Six

The Gregory School came tearing into Friday's match with five straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They put the hurt on the Valley Union Blue Devils with a sharp 3-0 win. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 last Thursday.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-9, 25-16, 25-10.

Emerson Myers paced The Gregory School's offense, picking up ten kills. Myers got some help from Lauren Horowitz and her 23 assists. Horowitz was also solid from the service line: she led the team with nine aces.

The Gregory School's victory bumped their record up to 13-9. As for Valley Union, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-14.

Looking ahead, The Gregory School will face off against St. David at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Valley Union does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
