Basketball Recap: Cooper Comes Up Short

Cooper was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat. They had to suffer through a 62-23 loss at the hands of the Abilene Eagles. The match marked the Cougars' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Cooper's loss dropped their record down to 8-18. As for Abilene, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 20-12.

Cooper does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Abilene, they will square off against Amarillo at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Amarillo will roll in looking for their 17th straight win, something Abilene surely won't give up without a fight.
