Basketball Recap: Bethel Bees vs. Milton-Union Bulldogs

Bethel was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost to the Milton-Union Bulldogs on the road by a 55-41 margin. The Bees were not able to make up for their loss to the Bulldogs from their previous meeting back in February.

Milton-Union got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Jenna Brumbaugh out in front who went 9 of 18 en route to 22 points and eight steals. Brumbaugh's afternoon made it seven games in a row in which she has scored at least ten points. Bethel's defeat dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Milton-Union, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 7-0.

Bethel will head out to take on Arcanum at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Milton-Union, they will welcome Twin Valley South at 7:15 p.m. on Monday. Twin Valley South's defense has only allowed 27.6 points per game this season, so Milton-Union's offense will have their work cut out for them.
