Softball Recap: Galion Takes a Loss

Thursday just wasn't the day for Galion's offense. They came up short against the River Valley Vikings on Thursday, falling 10-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Vikings this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 4-1 on Tuesday.

This is the second loss in a row for Galion and nudges their season record down to 6-16. As for River Valley, their win was their 11th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 16-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Galion will face off against Upper Sandusky at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Tigers' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Rams have averaged an impressive 11.6 runs per game this season. As for River Valley, they will square off against Mt. Vernon at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
