You can't lose the game if you win every quarter, and that was precisely Westminster's strategy against Adams City on Tuesday. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that the Wolves blew the Eagles out of the water with a 70-41 final score. The Wolves haven't had any issues with the Eagles recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

William Stoddard had an outrageously good game as he went 6-for-10 from beyond the arc on his way to 24 points along with six assists and five steals. Those 24 points gave him a new career-high. Elyas Romero was another key player, shooting 44% from the field to rack up 23 points and seven rebounds.

They weren't the only ones working in the assist department: Westminster was working as a unit and finished the game with 18 assists. They posted seven more assists than Adams City's also-impressive total of 11.

When it comes to explaining why Adams City lost, don't look at Elias Cornelius. Despite the final result, he posted eight points and four steals. Another player making a difference was Rogelio Moncada, who earned five points and three steals.

Westminster's record now sits at 2-0.

Looking ahead, Westminster will be playing in front of their home fans against Lakewood at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Adams City, they are taking a road trip to take on Wheat Ridge at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
