Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Byron walked away with it. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Chisago Lakes Area Wildcats on Wednesday, sneaking past 6-4. Winning may never get old, but the Bears sure are getting used to it with their fourth in a row.

Byron's win bumped their record up to 16-5. As for Chisago Lakes Area, the defeat snapped their winning streak at four games and leaves them with a 13-7 record.

Byron wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 4-3 victory against Cretin-Derham Hall on the 4th. As for Chisago Lakes Area, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 13-3 win against Benilde-St. Margaret's on the 4th.
