After a string of six wins, Berkner's good fortune finally ran out on Friday. They fell to the Lake Highlands Wildcats 71-65. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game last Tuesday (63), the Rams still had to take the loss.

Berkner's defeat dropped their record down to 10-8. As for Lake Highlands, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 15-3.

Berkner will be taking part in a tournament against Centennial at 10:30 a.m. on Friday. Berkner knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past 12 matches -- so hopefully Centennial likes a good challenge. Lake Highlands and Steele will round out the year against one another at at 2:00 a.m. on Thursday. Steele will roll in looking for their 15th straight victory, something Lake Highlands surely won't give up without a fight.
