Taos extended their losing streak to seven on Saturday, dropping their season record down to 4-12 in the process. They came up short against the Pojoaque Valley Elks/Elkettes, falling 19-10. Even if the Tigers couldn't come away with the victory, the high-scoring effort was a great turnaround for their hitters, which had struggled int the games prior.

As for Pojoaque Valley, their win bumped their record up to 5-16. They not only won on Saturday, but they posted their biggest win since March 22nd (when they won 19-4).

For Pojoaque Valley's part, Allayah Rios was incredible, firing off two home runs, seven RBI, and three runs while going 3-for-5. Those two home runs gave Rios a new career-high. Izabella Lujan was another key player, going 2-for-5 with four RBI, two runs, and two doubles.
