Softball Game Preview: Branchville Yellow Jackets vs. St. John's Christian Academy Cavaliers

The Branchville Yellow Jackets will take on the St. John's Christian Academy Cavaliers at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Branchville's last matchup with Barnwell could've gone either way, but unfortunately the same can't be said for the pair's contest on Monday. The Yellow Jackets came up short against the Warhorses, falling 8-1. The game marked the Yellow Jackets' lowest-scoring match so far this season.

Meanwhile, St. John's Christian Academy lost 20-7 to Dorchester Academy last Friday.

St. John's Christian Academy saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Grace Willis, who went 2-for-4 with one stolen base and one run. Another was Anna Grace Stephens, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base and one run.

St. John's Christian Academy now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Branchville, their loss dropped their record down to 4-3.
