Recap: Carlinville Cavaliers vs. Mt. Olive Wildcats
The Carlinville Cavaliers posted their biggest win yet this season on Monday. They blew past Mt. Olive 48-15 on the road. The contest was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 29-2.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Carlinville to victory, but perhaps none more so than Dom Alepra, who scored 15 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Camden Naugle, who scored eight points.
Carlinville's victory bumped their record up to 9-10. As for Mt. Olive, they have been struggling recently, as they've lost eight of their last nine matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-16 record this season.
Carlinville will be staying on the road on January 23rd to face off against Lutheran at 7:30 p.m. on January 23rd. As for Mt. Olive, they will look to defend their home court on January 23rd against Tri-City at 7:30 p.m.
