Basketball Game Preview: Dooly County Bobcats vs. Treutlen Vikings

For the first time this season, Dooly County will have a chance to prove themselves in a conference matchup. They will face off against the Treutlen Vikings at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Treutlen took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Dooly County, who comes in off a win.

Fans were treated to a battle of the Bobcats on Tuesday. Dooly County claimed a resounding 43-16 victory over Webster County.

Dooly County's success was spearheaded by the efforts of Ja'Kayla Hooks, who dropped a double-double with 24 points and 11 rebounds, and Aleesiah Taylor, who posted 11 points and four steals. Hooks is on a roll when it comes to boards, as she's now pulled down eight or more in each of the last seven games she's played dating back to last season.

Meanwhile, Treutlen played a tough game on Friday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They were dealt an 87-13 loss at the hands of Swainsboro. The Vikings were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 48-6.

Dooly County came up short against Treutlen in their previous matchup back in January, falling 43-30. Can the Bobcats avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
