Baseball Recap: Peters Township's Loss Ends Four-Game Winning Streak on the Road

The Peters Township Indians didn't have quite enough to beat the Bullitt East Chargers on Friday and fell 7-6.

Peters Township's loss ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 5-2. As for Bullitt East, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 9-2.

Coming up, Peters Township will be playing in front of their home fans against Chartiers Valley at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Bullitt East, they are taking a road trip to take on Spencer County at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Bears' pitching crew has only allowed 3.8 runs per game this season, so the Chargers' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
