Football Recap: Castle Park Comes Up Short

Castle Park lost against Monte Vista back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Trojans were beaten by the Monarchs 49-12. The Trojans have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Even Lopez threw for 101 yards and one touchdown. Aiddien Smith was his top target, picking up 89 receiving yards and one score.

Castle Park now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Monte Vista, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Castle Park will head out to challenge Rock Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Monte Vista, they will venture away from home to face off against Coastal Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
