Basketball Game Preview: Franklin Knights vs. Seneca Bobcats

Franklin is 3-0 against Seneca since March of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Tuesday. The Franklin Knights will be playing in front of their home fans against the Seneca Bobcats at 7:15 p.m. Franklin is coming into the match on a four-game losing streak.

Last Friday, Franklin ended up a good deal behind Oil City and lost 61-42.

Meanwhile, Seneca played a tough game on Friday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They came up short against Fort LeBoeuf, falling 62-37. While losing is never fun, the Bobcats can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked 644th, while the Bison are ranked 111th).

Seneca dropped their record down to 2-12 with the loss, which was their fourth straight at home. As for Franklin, they now have a losing record at 6-7.

Everything came up roses for Franklin against Seneca in their previous meeting back in February of 2024, as the team secured a 92-43 victory. Does Franklin have another victory up their sleeve, or will Seneca turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
