Volleyball Recap: Walden Grove Takes a Loss

Walden Grove was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They lost 3-0 to the Ironwood Ridge Nighthawks.

While Walden Grove was kept off the board, it wasn't for a lack of trying: they cut into Ironwood Ridge's winning margin in every set. The match finished with set scores of 25-11, 25-13, 25-19.

Walden Grove's defeat dropped their record down to 5-8. As for Ironwood Ridge, they now have a winning record of 8-7.

Looking ahead, Walden Grove will square off against Sahuaro at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Ironwood Ridge, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 3-1 win against Sunnyside on the 9th.
