Softball Recap: Lincoln Comes Up Short

Lincoln fell victim to Live Oak and their airtight pitching crew on Wednesday. They took a 5-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Acorns. The Lions haven't had much luck with the Acorns recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

Lincoln saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Serenity Hernandez, who went 1-for-2 with one double.

Lincoln's loss dropped their record down to 10-6. As for Live Oak, the victory (which was their ninth in a row) raised their record to 14-1.

Lincoln has already played their next game (against Homestead), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Live Oak, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next matchup, a 12-1 win against Christopher on the 25th.
