Basketball Recap: Cheney Tech Comes Up Short

Cheney Tech and Academy of Science and Innovation squared off in some playoff action on Wednesday, but Cheney Tech had to settle for second. They took a 47-39 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Academy of Science and Innovation Ravens. The game marked the Chargers' lowest-scoring match so far this season.

Academy of Science and Innovation's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Mohammad Kulaib, who posted 13 points and five boards. The team also got some help courtesy of Lebron White, who earned ten points.

Cheney Tech's defeat dropped their record down to 15-9. As for Academy of Science and Innovation, the victory was the 21st in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 22-1.

Cheney Tech does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Academy of Science and Innovation, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against Norwich Free Academy at 6:00 p.m.
