After losing to John F. Kennedy Catholic the last time they met, Boardman decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Boardman Spartans narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past the John F. Kennedy Catholic Eagles 75-72.

John F. Kennedy Catholic's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Henry Phillips, who made all 10 shots he took for 28 points, and Nick Ryan, who dropped a double-double with 28 points and ten boards. Ryan's evening made it 34 games in a row in which he has scored at least 15 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Dom Ryan, who posted six points.

Boardman's victory bumped their record up to 12-8. As for John F. Kennedy Catholic, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 13-9 record this season.

Boardman wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 61-39 defeat against Green on the 21st. As for John F. Kennedy Catholic, they have also already played their next matchup, a 73-7 win against Cardinal on the 22nd.
