Football Recap: Irondequoit Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Irondequoit can now relate to. They were just a hair shy of victory on Friday and fell 7-6 to the Brighton Bruins. The defeat continues a trend for the Eagles in their meetings with the Bruins: they've now lost six in a row.

Eric Torres Iii threw for 28 yards and one TD. On the ground, Daeshawn Johnson rushed for 86 yards.

Having lost for the first time this season, Irondequoit fell to 8-1. As for Brighton, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-2.

As of now, neither Irondequoit nor the Bruins have any future games scheduled.
