Basketball Recap: Patel's Win Ends Ten-Game Losing Streak on the Road

Patel needed a changed in momentum after dropping nine straight games and they got it from Ella Krapohl. The Patel Trailblazers managed a 41-37 win over the Brooks DeBartolo Collegiate Phoenix on Thursday thanks in part to Krapohl, who went 5 of 11 on her way to 11 points and four steals. Those 11 points gave her a new career-high.

Despite the loss, Brooks DeBartolo Collegiate still got an impressive performance from Jasani Andrews, who dropped a double-double on 26 points and ten boards. The game was Andrews' third in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Shanara Wilson, who posted six points.
