Volleyball Game Preview: Hercules Titans vs. Albany Cougars

The Hercules Titans will venture away from home to take on the Albany Cougars at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Hercules is coming into the game hot, having won their last three games.

Hercules proved they can win big on Wednesday (they won by three) and on Thursday they proved they can win the close ones too. They skirted past North Hills Christian 3-2.

Hercules wouldn't go down easily and took North Hills Christian into a fifth set where they got it done with a six-point win. The final score came out to 25-22, 25-19, 23-25, 20-25, 15-9.

Meanwhile, Albany beat Miramonte 2-0 on Saturday. The win continues a trend for the Cougars in their matchups with the Matadors: they've now won three in a row.

Albany now has a winning record of 13-12. As for Hercules, their victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 9-5.

Hercules couldn't quite get it done against Albany when the teams last played last Friday as they fell 3-1. Can Hercules avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
