Soccer Recap: Leonard Comes Up Short

Leonard and Wellington squared off in some playoff action on Thursday, but Leonard had to settle for second. They fell 4-2 to the Wolverines.

Marcelo Mendez and Samuel Rivas scored both of Leonard's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 14 goals.

Leonard's defeat dropped their record down to 9-5-6. As for Wellington, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 10-8-1.

Leonard does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Wellington, they wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next matchup, a 3-1 victory against Palm Beach Central on the 27th.
