Eli Yates Game Report: vs Pocola

Eli Yates gave up the fewest walks he has since back in March of 2024 on Monday. Nobody could stop him as he struck out nine batters over four innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off five hits (and only one walk). Those nine strikeouts gave him a new career-high.

Looking ahead, Yates and Cameron will square off against Roland at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Sadly, Yates' big day wasn't enough to stop the loss, which snapped Cameron's eight-game streak of wins at home. With the streak broken, Yates and Cameron surely have a bit of extra motivation heading into Tuesday's match.
