Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Toppenish). Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Ephrata Tigers a 13-0 shutout on Saturday. The Wildcats not only won on Saturday, but they posted their biggest win since March 23, 2024.

Toppenish's victory was their first in the district, bumping their district record up to 1-5 and their overall record up to 5-5. As for Ephrata, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-8.
