Governor's School for Science & Math extends road losing streak to six

Recap: Governor's School for Science & Math Eagles vs. C.A. Johnson Hornets

The Governor's School for Science & Math Eagles's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their third straight loss. They were beaten by C.A. Johnson 88-25. The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Governor's School for Science & Math in their matchups with C.A. Johnson: they've now lost nine in a row.

It was another big night for Lamont Jackson, who scored 18 points along with six steals for C.A. Johnson. Jackson hasn't dropped below two steals for ten straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Jayden Guess, who dropped a double-double on ten points and ten assists.

Governor's School for Science & Math bumped their record down to 1-4 with that loss, which was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for C.A. Johnson, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 8-10.

Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing McBee the next time they take the court. C.A. Johnson will host McBee at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, while Governor's School for Science & Math will host them at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
