             It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but John Jay had no problem doing just that  on Friday. They were the clear victor by  a  3-0 margin over the Monroe-Woodbury Crusaders. The  victory was nothing new for the Patriots as they're now sitting on seven straight.
 The match finished with set scores of 25-7, 25-8,  25-21.
 Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead John Jay to victory, but perhaps none more so than   Diya Biguvu, who  had 11  digs and 17  assists. Biguvu is  on a roll when it comes to  assists, as she's  now  posted 14 or more in the last eight games she's  played.  Lindsay Mcdonough was another key player,  getting 12  digs and two  aces.
 John Jay  was lethal from the service line and  finished the game with ten  aces. That's a new  trend for them: they were averaging 9.8  aces per game earlier this season, but in their last 15 games they've averaged 0.
 John Jay's win bumped their record up to 35-3-1. As for Monroe-Woodbury,  the  loss snapped their winning streak at nine games  and leaves them with a 16-2-1 record.
 As of now, neither John Jay nor Monroe-Woodbury have any future games scheduled.
