There's no place like home for Miyamura, who bounced back after a  loss on the road  last Saturday. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Kirtland Central Broncos  a   9-0 shutout  on Tuesday. The Patriots might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six matches by six  runs or more this season.
 Brady Antonio made a big impact no matter where he played. On the mound, he  didn't allow a single  earned run while striking out nine over 6.1 innings pitched. He also  tossed  no  earned runs, which is notable because Miyamura is 4-2 when he allows at  most  three  earned runs, but 4-7 otherwise. Antonio was also big at the plate,  scoring a  run while going 2-for-4. That's the most  hits  he has posted since back in February.
 In other batting news,  Marshall Livingston and  Shane Escajeda did most of the damage at the plate:  Livingston  scored three  runs while going 2-for-4, while  Escajeda  went 1-for-3 with two  RBI and one  double. Those  three  runs gave  Livingston a new career-high.  Brayden Ashley was another key player,  scoring a  run while going 2-for-3.
The  victory snapped Miyamura's losing streak at three games  and leaves them with a 8-9 record. As for Kirtland Central,  they are  on  a  three-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 8-11.
 Both  teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Miyamura will venture away from home to  challenge Aztec  at 6:00  p.m.  on Thursday. The Tigers will roll in looking for their  fourth straight  win, something the Patriots surely won't give up without a fight. As for Kirtland Central, they will head out to  take on Gallup  at 4:00  p.m.  on Thursday. The Bengals have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 11.33  runs per game on average), something the Broncos will no doubt try to take advantage of.
