Duncan entered their tilt with Valley Lutheran on Friday with five consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with six. They slipped by the Valley Lutheran Flames 38-37.

When it comes to explaining why Valley Lutheran lost, don't look at Natalia Hernandez. Despite the final result, she dropped a double-double on 15 points and ten steals. The dominant performance gave Hernandez a new career-high in steals. Another player making a difference was Viddiate Clinton, who posted ten points and seven steals.

Duncan is on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten matches, which provided a nice bump to their 14-3 record this season. The wins came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 21.2 points per game.
