Village Christian Academy extended their winning streak to nine on Tuesday, bumping them up to 12-2. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Fayetteville Christian Warriors. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-1 back in August.

Celeste Horn paced Village Christian Academy's offense, picking up 12 kills. Horn got some help from Kaylnn McEachin and her 16 assists. Horn was also solid from the service line: she led the team with two aces.

As for Fayetteville Christian, with the defeat, they broke their six-match winning streak and moved their record to 9-6. Considering the last time they couldn't score was back in August, the team can't take the result too hard.

Despite the loss, Fayetteville Christian saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Ava Jesus had ten digs and three aces. Jesus is on a roll when it comes to aces, as she's now served three or more in each of the last three games she's played. Cara Klapp also deserves some recognition as she posted her first assist of the season.

Village Christian Academy has already played their next matchup, a 3-0 defeat against Grace Christian on the 25th. As for Fayetteville Christian, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-1 win against Northwood Temple Academy on the 25th.
