Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask West Feliciana). They blew past the Port Barre Red Devils 66-38 on Tuesday. The win was familiar territory for the Saints who have now won four matchups in a row.

West Feliciana can attribute much of their success to Samaria Berry, who posted 23 points. Those 23 points gave Berry a new career-high. Ariannah Smith was another key player, putting up 14 points.

West Feliciana pushed their record up to 5-4 with the victory, which was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 57.0 points per game. As for Port Barre, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-5.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. West Feliciana and Scotlandville will compete for holiday cheer at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Port Barre, they will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on North Iberville at 5:00 p.m. on January 8, 2025.
