Volleyball Game Preview: May River Sharks vs. Bridges Prep Buccaneers + Official Tickets

The May River Sharks are taking a road trip to face off against the Bridges Prep Buccaneers at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with eight consecutive losses for May River and 12 for Bridges Prep.

May River came up short against Bluffton on Tuesday, falling 3-0.

Meanwhile, Bridges Prep came up short against Battery Creek on Monday and fell 3-1. While the Buccaneers didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Dolphins 25-21 in the first set.

Bridges Prep started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The final score came out to 21-25, 25-17, 25-19, 25-10.

Bridges Prep's defeat dropped their record down to 1-12. As for May River, their loss dropped their record down to 7-16.

May River was able to grind out a solid win over Bridges Prep in their previous meeting back in August, winning 2-0. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Sharks since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
