Beaufort proved they can win big on Friday (they won by four) and on Saturday they proved they can win the close ones too. They won by a goal and slipped past the Battery Creek Dolphins 1-0. The Eagles' defense has been rock solid lately; the team hasn't given up a goal in their last three matchups.

Their one-goal win came courtesy of Cesar Etanislao, who's now up to three this season.

Beaufort's victory bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Battery Creek, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-1.

Beaufort didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next game, a 0-0 win against Hampton County on the 1st. As for Battery Creek, they will host Whale Branch at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
