Volleyball Recap: Walker Valley Takes a Loss

Walker Valley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 3-0 to the Bradley Central Bears. If the Mustangs were looking for revenge after losing 3-1 to the Bears when the teams met back in September of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

The defeat didn't mean the game wasn't competitive: Bradley Central scored at least 17 points in every set. The final score came out to 25-21, 25-17, 25-19.

Walker Valley's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Bradley Central, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-0.

Looking ahead, Walker Valley will be playing in front of their home fans against Chattanooga School for the Liberal Arts at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Bradley Central, they have already played their next contest, a 2-1 defeat against Hazel Green on the 22nd.
