Baseball Game Preview: Miller Place Panthers vs. Kings Park Kingsmen

For the second straight game, Miller Place will face off against Kings Park. The Panthers will challenge the Kingsmen at 5:15 p.m. on Thursday.

Miller Place is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. Their pitcher stepped up to hand Kings Park an 11-0 shutout on Tuesday. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Panthers as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.

Not much got past Nick Frusco, who gave up just two hits and racked up 16 Ks to keep Kings Park off the board.

On the hitting side, Miller Place got a massive performance out of Evan Fallon, who went a perfect 4-for-4 with one home run, three runs, and three RBI. Those four hits gave Fallon a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Van Johnson, who went 2-for-3 with one home run and three RBI.

They weren't the only ones working in the home run department: Miller Place lost a few balls and finished the game with two home runs. That's the most home runs they've managed all season.

Miller Place's victory bumped their record up to 5-8. As for Kings Park, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-8.
