Football Recap: Brentwood Finds Home Field Redemption Against Shelbyville Central + How To Watch

There's no place like home for Brentwood, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. They enjoyed a cozy 24-6 win over the Shelbyville Central Golden Eagles on Friday. The final result isn't all that surprising considering the Bruins' considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Tennessee football rankings (they are ranked 32nd, while the Golden Eagles are ranked 85th).

Brentwood now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Shelbyville Central, their loss was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 2-3.

Coming up, Brentwood will challenge Henry County at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Bruins will be up against the Patriots' rather soft defense (which has allowed 26.25 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Shelbyville Central, they will head out on the road to face off against Summit on Friday. The Golden Eagles are facing the Spartans at the right time seeing as the Spartans are stuck on a four-game losing streak.
