Baseball Recap: Tuesday's Defeat Ends Fort Walton Beach's Winning Streak

Fort Walton Beach and Choctawhatchee squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but Fort Walton Beach had to settle for second. They lost 13-0 to the Indians. The Vikings were red-hot at the plate heading into the contest (they scored no less than ten runs in the four matches prior), but the Indians' pitchers proved too tough.

With the loss, Fort Walton Beach broke their six-game winning streak and moved their record to 12-12. As for Choctawhatchee, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-11 record this season.
