It's playoff time, and McCallum had no trouble coming through when it counted. Everything went their way against McCallum/Anderson on Thursday as they made off with  a  9-1 win. Considering McCallum has won ten contests by more than seven  runs this season, Thursday's  blowout was nothing new.
 Natalie Myrick made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound,   striking out 11 batters over  seven innings while giving up just one earned run off   five  hits (and not a single walk). She has been consistent for a while: she hasn't  tossed less than six  strikeouts in ten consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate,  going 2-for-4 with two  doubles and one  RBI.
 In other batting news,  the team  relied heavily on  Tallulah McColgin, who  went 2-for-4 with three  runs, two  RBI,  and one  double. Another player making a difference was  Tiara Cooks, who  went 2-for-4 with two  stolen bases, two  runs,  and one  triple.
 McCallum  kept the outfield on their toes and  finished the game with 11  hits. They are  a perfect 10-0 when  they post 11 or more  hits.
McCallum is  on a roll lately: they've  won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-9 record  this season.
 McCallum wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next  game,  a  9-1  victory against Anderson on the 17th. McCallum/Anderson does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
