Football Game Preview: Van Meter Bulldogs vs. Chariton Chargers + How To Watch

The Van Meter Bulldogs will take on the Chariton Chargers at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Van Meter blew Clarinda out of the water the last time the pair played, but on Friday Clarinda got their revenge. The Bulldogs fell just short of the Cardinals by a score of 17-14. The matchup marked the Bulldogs' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Chariton). They claimed a resounding 63-12 victory over Clarke. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for the Chargers considering their seven-point performance the game before.

Van Meter moved to 3-2 with that defeat, which also ended their three-game winning streak. As for Chariton, they moved to 2-3 with that win, which also ended their three-game losing streak.
