Football Recap: Natomas Comes Up Short

Natomas had lost five straight on the road dating back to last season, but on Friday they dropped down to 0-7 to make it six. They were beaten by the Casa Roble Rams 57-6. The Nighthawks were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 43-0.

As for Casa Roble, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 6-1. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 14.6 points on average over those games.

Aidan Lopez had another great game (as he tends to do), throwing for 223 yards and three TDs on perfect 6-for-6 passing. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in passer rating (177.1). Felix Rodriguez made the highlight reel by snagging an interception and taking it all the way to the house.
