Basketball Recap: Sulphur Takes a Loss

Sulphur lost against Plainview back in February of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Sulphur Bulldogs were beaten by the Plainview Indians 60-30. The Bulldogs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Plainview was led to victory by Abby Chaney and Kali Williamson. Chaney went 6 of 11 on her way to 16 points, while Williamson posted nine points in addition to six assists and five rebounds. Another player making a difference was Chloe Coenen, who scored six points along with six boards and three steals.

Sulphur's record is now 2-15. As for Plainview, they now have a winning record of 8-7.

Sulphur has already played their next game (against Marlow), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Plainview didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 56-48 loss against Tecumseh on the 1st.
