Baseball Recap: Worthington Kilbourne Takes a Loss

Worthington Kilbourne and St. Charles squared off in some playoff action on Saturday, but Worthington Kilbourne had to settle for second. They came up short against the Cardinals, falling 11-2. The Wolves' loss continues a trend for the team, making it four in a row.

Worthington Kilbourne saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Alex Gleason, who went 1-for-2 with one double and one RBI. Amourae Jordan also deserves some recognition as he got his first hit of the season.

Worthington Kilbourne's defeat dropped their record down to 13-11. As for St. Charles, their win bumped their record up to 10-15.

As of now, neither Worthington Kilbourne nor the Cardinals have any future games scheduled.
