Volleyball Recap: San Miguel Takes a Loss

San Miguel was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They lost 3-0 to the Benson Bobcats. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bobcats this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-0 back in September.

San Miguel took the loss but they managed to make steady progress, increasing their score in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-5, 25-10, 25-11.

San Miguel's defeat dropped their record down to 3-20. As for Benson, they have been performing well recently as they've won 13 of their last 16 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-7 record this season.

San Miguel will square off against Valley Union at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Benson does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
