While Raytown's victory against Raytown South wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Bluejays sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-1 win over the Cardinals on Monday. The Bluejays haven't had any issues with the Cardinals recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive victory against them.

In the two sets Raytown was on fire: they won each by at least 11 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 15-25, 25-10, 25-14.

Raytown's win bumped their record up to 8-9-2. As for Raytown South, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-14.

Coming up, Raytown will venture away from home to square off against Platte County at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Raytown South, they will host Smithville at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
