Soccer Recap: Elkhorn South Starts Season with Win Against Buena Vista

Elkhorn South had to kick off their season on the road on Friday, but they showed no ill effects. Their defense stepped up to hand the Buena Vista Bison a 1-0 shutout. Elkhorn South haven't had any issues with Buena Vista recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

Elkhorn South has already played their next contest, a 5-0 win against North Platte on the 22nd. As for Buena Vista, they also wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next matchup, a 3-2 defeat against Omaha Central on the 25th.
