St. Johns Country Day and Canterbury squared off in some playoff action on Thursday, but St. Johns Country Day had to settle for second. They took a 6-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Cougars. The Spartans' loss signaled the end of their ten-game winning streak.

St. Johns Country Day saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Brayden Harris, who went 2-for-3 with one RBI.

St. Johns Country Day's defeat dropped their record down to 26-9. As for Canterbury, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 17 of their last 19 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 26-11 record this season.

As of now, neither St. Johns Country Day nor Canterbury have any future games scheduled.
