Recap: Abilene Eagles vs. Ryan Raiders
Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only the Abilene Eagles walked away with it. They walked away with a 31-21 win over the Raiders on Friday. The win was familiar territory for Abilene who now have eight in a row.
The critical scores for Abilene came from Bryson Perez, Jadrian Carillo, and Jackson Howle.
Ryan's lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Nemo Warmate, who gained 79 total yards and a touchdown.
Abilene's victory bumped their record up to 10-2. As for Ryan, their loss dropped their record down to 8-3.
Abilene will be staying on the road on Friday to face off against Northwest at 7:00 p.m. on November 24th. The pair have allowed few points on average, (Northwest: 17.7, Abilene: 17.8) so any points scored will be well earned. Ryan does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
