The Becker Bulldogs will face off against the Rocori Spartans at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Becker comes in on six and Rocori on five.
Becker will bounce into Monday's matchup after beating Foley, who they had gone 1-8 against in their nine prior meetings. The Bulldogs skirted past the Falcons 6-4.
Isaac Guck made a splash while hitting and pitching. He pitched two innings while giving up just one earned run off one hit. He has been consistent: he hasn't given up more than two hits in five consecutive appearances. He was also solid in the batter's box, getting on base in two of his four plate appearances with one stolen base and one run.

In other batting news, Becker let Isaac Daluge and Hunter Pietrowski run wild. Daluge went 2-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI, while Pietrowski got on base in three of his four plate appearances with two stolen bases, three runs, and one double. Those three runs gave Pietrowski a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Riley Girard, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base and one RBI.
Meanwhile, it may have taken nine innings to finish the job, but Rocori ultimately got the result they hoped for on Saturday. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past St. Thomas Academy 9-7.
Reece Kalla looked comfortable as he didn't allow a single earned run over four innings pitched.
At the plate, the team relied heavily on Jake Stalboerger, who got on base in four of his five plate appearances with one triple, one run, and one RBI. Caleb Maddox was another key player, going 3-for-5 with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI.
Becker pushed their record up to 7-5 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. The road victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.7 runs on average over those games. As for Rocori, their win bumped their record up to 6-2.
